Acworth Christian Church

Acworth Christian Church, originally organized as Mt. Zion Church of Christ in 1858, is one of Acworth, Georgia’s few remaining historic turn-of-the-century heritage churches. A non-denominational fellowship, it serves both as a place of worship and a preserved historic landmark in downtown Acworth.

02

Website Revitalization & Responsive Design

We crafted a modern WordPress-based website that honors the church’s rich history while delivering a clean, user-friendly experience. The responsive design ensures seamless viewing across devices.

03

Enhanced Community Engagement & Event Features

To help the church better engage its congregation and visitors, we integrated a dynamic upcoming‑events section and easy access to donation options. These tools simplify participation and giving, encouraging stronger church-community connections.

04

Heritage Storytelling & Visual Biography

Enriched visuals-including photos of stained-glass windows and the historic steeple-bring the church’s architectural and cultural legacy to life. A compelling “About Us” section shares its journey from the 19th century to today, reinforcing its identity as both a spiritual home and a historic treasure.

05

Preservation Messaging & Design Tone

The site’s visual identity combines modern typography and a neutral color palette with dignified accents-striking a balance between warmth and reverence. This design choice reflects the dual mission: embracing present-day worship needs while honoring the church’s storied past.

06

Organized Navigation & Visitor-Focused Content

We structured the site with intuitive navigation and clear, user focused pages-like “About,” “Events,” “Donate,” and “Contact” enabling visitors to quickly access relevant information.
